Product Description.

The IC200MDL740 is an output module from the VersaMax series manufactured by General Electric Intelligent Platform Control System Solutions.

The module has a total set of 16 output points, each supporting discrete digital signals.

The output points of this device can be either positive logic or source types. Each output point performs load switching and supplies power to the load.

This product is compatible with the IC200CHS series of plug-in relay bases.

This device requires an auxiliary power supply to support output load switching. The five-volt output power supply must not draw more than 45 mA.

This module operates from 10.2 to 30 volts direct current (DC). Although the unit is nominal at 24 volts DC, it can also operate at 12 volts DC;.

However, operation at 12 volts DC requires an upgrade to the IC200MDL740B or higher.

Each output has a current of 0.5 amps and a response time of 0.2 milliseconds for the ‘on’ state and 1.0 milliseconds for the ‘off’ state.

Interchannel isolation is not supported, nor www.abb-drive.com are any protection mechanisms such as internal fuses.

Output voltage drop peaks at 0.3 volts and output leakage is up to 0.5 mA when operating at 30 volts DC. LEDs indicate device status.

These LEDs require field power to operate but are not affected by output load conditions.

This Model IC200MDL740 also supports thermal derating when operating at 24 or 30 volts DC.

The IC200MDL740 discrete output module is a 12/24 volt DC Versamax positive logic output module manufactured by GE Fanuc.

It has 16 discrete outputs, 10.2 to 30 volts DC, 12/24 volts DC nominal external supply voltage, and 45 milliamps of backplane current consumption.

The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module is a GE Fanuc 12/24 Volt DC Versamax positive logic output module with 1 set of 16 source type outputs.

It has rack-mounting options and a compact design with a hot-plug facility that helps users to easily replace it without changing the field wiring.

The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module has LEDs to indicate the status of each output point.

Three types of carriers are available for easy installation or replacement of output modules in the system without interrupting operation.

It has configurable filtering times, a maximum turn-on response time of 0.2 ms, and a maximum turn-off response time of 1.0 ms.

It also provides external power to the load side and operates with backplane power.

The IC200MDL740 DC Positive Logic Output Module has one set of outputs with DC and DC terminals.

An external inhibit circuit must be used with an inductive load on the outputs. This external inhibit circuit can be connected across the actual load or to each of the output points that drive the inductive load.

It is recommended that a shorting bar with a current-carrying capacity of 2 amps be used on the B terminal to add additional bus terminals.

A variety of carriers allows the user to install the correct carrier without the use of any tools.

These simple connection facilities reduce the training time and life cycle costs required to use this output module.

It also comes with configuration software that makes it easy to perform hardware and network configurations.

The IC200MDL740 Discrete Output Module is a general purpose distributed product designed for industrial and commercial automation and industrial control applications.
