The MOPEG240C module is a motor operator module manufactured by Eaton Corporation. The module is designed for use with Eaton’s G-Series E-frame line of

of EGB, EGE, EHC, EGS and EGH circuit breakers. It is rated for 100 to 220 volts AC or 100 to 220 volts DC operating voltage,

1 amp inrush current and 50 to 60 Hz operating frequency. The Motor Operator Module allows the user to remotely or locally switch the ON, OFF and RESET functions of the circuit breaker remotely or locally.

Both modes of operation support manual and automatic control of the unit.

In manual mode, the operation keys included with the MOPEG240C Motor www.abb-drive.com Operator Module can be used to locally open, close, or reset circuit breaker contacts via the locking holes.

The unit shall be mounted on the front cover of the circuit breaker within its dimensions.

The internal limit switches and relays on the unit are tasked with controlling motor operation by ensuring that the circuit breaker handle only moves within a defined range.

The Eaton MOPEG240C motor operator module can be manually tripped via its push-button trip button.

It contains a pull-out locking mechanism for locking the circuit breaker handle in the OFF position with a padlock and can be used for standard load transfer switching applications.
