Applications

The AMS 6500 Configuration Software for Machinery Protection allows you to configure protection modules, view real-time vibration monitoring systems and sensor health.

The intuitive configuration process begins with the selection of the card type. Next, the configuration software displays a simple table view.

All configuration settings are clearly visible. Tabs help you www.abb-drive.com categorise information between inputs, outputs, advanced machine diagnostics and management tasks.

diagnostic and management tasks. The allowable range for each required entry is clearly visible to help you understand the range of the parameter.

Preset parameters are automatically loaded when using Emerson sensors and transducers.

Real-time data can be displayed during system configuration to verify that wiring, card settings, and instrumentation are healthy and properly connected.

Real-time information such as gap voltage, waveform data, and overall vibration data can be viewed.

Ongoing maintenance functions such as resetting latching relays or loading saved configurations can be easily performed via software.

The software can be run on a PC or laptop.

The System Configuration Software allows you to configure the following monitors of the A6000 series

The following monitors of the A6000 series can be configured:

Basic Predictive Features

The AMS 6500 Configuration Software has a number of built-in trending functions that allow basic troubleshooting and prediction of the machine.

Master value trends are graphically represented, showing both card health and alarm values. The software can display vibration signals as a function of time,

The software displays the vibration signal as a function of time, the date of the FFT analysis with a resolution of up to 400 lines, and the FFT phase data. The software also displays the last time the machine was started or stopped.

The configuration software visualises the data and displays velocity over time and vibration over velocity for each channel.
