The CSI 6500 Equipment Condition Monitoring System is fully compliant with API 670 and is designed to protect and monitor critical rotating machinery.
Special features of the system include the ability to integrate data from protection functions into DeltaV and Ovation process automation systems in three simple steps;
Transient analysis with real-time display, logging, pause and playback; and superior PeakVue processing for early detection of bearing and gear damage.
Subrack Configuration:
– The 19″ subrack is used only for the 6 U version of the protection function and the standard 3 U version of the protection function.
– The 19″ subrack is used only for the forecasting function and has a mounting height of 6 U with front or rear sensor connection terminals.
A compact version with a mounting width of 7.5″ is also available.
– Only the 19″/6 U subrack is available for combined protection and forecasting functions.
n The machine monitoring function is fully compliant with API 670.

In every factory, 5% of rotating machines cause production to stop.
Although your critical machines are fitted with vibration shutdown protection systems to prevent catastrophic failure, is your plant really protected?
What about the shocking repair costs, missed production targets and unfulfilled customer promises associated with tripped or missed trips?
As much as 50% of mechanical failures that lead to downtime are caused by the process, while 90% are predictable or even controllable.
Real-time machine health feedback integrated with process automation allows you to run your plant with confidence.
The CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor is designed for process automation and protection system upgrade projects.
Housed in a single chassis, the CSI 6500 combines proven predictive and protective features to provide a complete online machinery monitoring solution.
Emerson is a global leader in integrated process automation technologies and predictive technologies for plant-wide fixed and rotating asset management.
