The two-channel shaft displacement measuring module MMS 6210 measures the displacement of shafts.

For example: axial position of shaft ends, rectangular or conical discs in tandem configurations, differential and thermal expansion as well as radial position and bending of shafts.

It uses the output of an eddy current displacement sensor. It is recommended that these measurements be used in conjunction with other measurements to establish a turbomachinery protection system, to and provide the inputs required for analysis and diagnostic systems, as well as the inputs required for analysis and diagnostic systems.

These systems include: analysis and diagnostic systems, fieldbus systems, distributed www.abb-drive.com control systems, plant/host computers, and networks.

such as WAN/LAN, Ethernet. Such systems are also suitable for establishing systems

to improve performance and efficiency, operational safety and extend the life of steam-gas-hydro turbines as well as compressors, fans, centrifuges and other turbomachinery.
