About IC200CHS212

The IC200CHS212 base is a plug-in relay expansion base designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc.

It comes with 16 I/O points with LED indicators. These indicators light up when a connection is active with a specific point.

The Plug Relay is easily replaceable and fuses 8 amps of current. It is compatible with Versamax I/O modules.

These I/O modules have a 24-volt DC output voltage and a 0.5-ampere current rating and are used to configure the IC200CHS212 base.

The expansion relay has a small form factor, measuring 9.9 inches wide by 4.95 inches high by 2.8 inches deep.

The module is used in conjunction with an interface unit or power supply unit. The relay expansion bases comply with different environmental and industrial standards.

The IC200CHS212 expansion base can be used to connect a variety of termination bases. It comes with removable terminal connectors that can be easily replaced.

The expansion base uses a box connector. It supports output voltages in the www.abb-drive.com range of 0 to 125 volts DC with nominal voltages of 5. 24. and 125 volts DC.

For the voltage range of 8 to 5 volts AC, this expansion base has a load current of 265 amps per point.

The IC200CHS212 chassis is constructed of high quality materials. The Versamax module provides high performance and is a cost-effective industrial solution.

The expansion relay has ports for connection to programmers and handheld devices.

It is designed with open architecture and should be protected from dust, dirt and contaminants. The temperature of the module should not exceed 60 degrees Celsius.

The IC200CHS212 is GE’s 16-point I/O relay expansion base. The relay is replaceable, labeled 8 amps and fused.

The VersaMax I/O Modules IC200MDL740 and MDL750 provide 24 VDC O.5A outputs to control the IC200CHS212 relays.

The IC200CHS212 dimensions (excluding DIN rail height) are 253.7 mm (9.9 in.) x 126 mm (4.95 in.) x 73 mm (2.8 in.).

Power supply modules such as the IC200CHS212 snap onto all Versamax interface units or power booster carriers.

Any power supply can be specified as the main power supply for modules in an I/O station or as an additional power supply for large I/O applications.

The IC200CHS212 and other VersaMax I/O plug-in disconnect bases enable the IC200CHS003 to connect to a variety of termination bases.

Relay bases provide more protection and higher current output. The relays are controlled by the outputs of the VersaMax I/O modules.

Users can easily disconnect each point signal from the I/O module by disconnecting the base. The module’s field terminals can also be removed.

The relays located on the plug-in terminals are intended to be controlled using a typical 24 VDC 0.5 VersaMax output module.
